Hello Hamburg!

Hello! My name is Katy Berger, the creator of this "blog". I think of this more as a living breathing diary though. My husband Aaron, son Calvin, dog Rosie, and soon to be baby girl whom does not yet have a name (I have some time) picked up and moved from Atlanta, GA to Hamburg, Germany two weeks ago.

This has been an absolute whirlwind and I quickly realized that if I do not write down and document as much of our experience here as I possibly can, there will be a lot that we miss or eventually forget. Every single day seems to be filled with new experiences. Most are good, some are bad, all are new and different.

Feel free to follow along with our experiences but really just wanted to have a place to write down thoughts and experiences we have navigating a new city and culture as a soon to be family of 5 (always including Rosie!) and continue to share with our family and friends. I am looking forward to truly settling into this gorgeous city as well as traveling around Europe. Tschuss!
